Originating from a Brahmin descent, his BBQ stall earned endearment, with patrons affectionately calling him "BAJE" (Grandpa). His passion for SEKUWA ignited the journey, and under the diligent leadership of his son, Mr. Chetan Bhandari, our first eatery at Sinamangal Junction marked the inception of a multi-chain, family-owned restaurant. With 48 years of rich heritage, Bajeko Sekuwa has become a symbol of culinary excellence, recognized globally for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and a warm dining experience.

Bajeko Sekuwa’s story began over 48 years ago with the vision of founder Dinanath Bhandari. His humble BBQ stall became widely loved, earning him the nickname “Baje,” meaning grandfather in Nepali. Under the leadership of his son, Chetan Bhandari, the brand expanded beyond its original beginnings in Nepal. The opening of the first restaurant marked the start of a growing, family-owned chain, now recognized for bringing authentic Nepalese flavors to communities around the world.
